Terms and Conditions
We understand and agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein as specifically defined for use of the NetPass PostFix Administration system.
NetPass shall be held harmless in the event the system is used incorrectly resulting in potential loss of e-mail accounts, e-mail data and/or loss of ability to send/receive e-mail. Further, we understand and agree that fees may apply in the event NetPass is required to restore e-mail services resulting from improper use or abuse of the PostFix Administration system.
We agree to not provide information for accessing this system to third parties and, on NetPass recommendation, to notify NetPass in the event access information is retained by parties no longer authorized to utilize this system, whether directly or indirectly affiliated to us, so that access information can be changed in an effort to preserve the integrity of accounts, data, and overall e-mail services provided by NetPass and modified through the NetPass PostFix Administration system. In the event this guideline is not followed, NetPass shall again be held harmless accordingly.
The NetPass Email Administration system may be used for lawful purposes only and I agree to abide by NetPass Acceptable Use Policy when using this system.
Do I have to know anything about the web services industry to excel?
Not at all. If you can sell and have or can generate contacts in need of the services offered by our firm, this program will work very well for you.
How quickly can I get started?
While it can take longer, we typically review and approve applications within 1-2 business days. If your application is rejected, we DO notify you with typically with an explanation as to why your application was rejected.
Can I work out of your offices?
If you would like, you may lease space in our offices. For details, please call 407.843.7277. Resellers may visit our offices at any time during operating hours to meet with developers, technicians, etc. on client related projects.
I understand you guarantee your work. Not too many do. What sort of guarantee can I expect for my clients?
We guarantee the products and services we offer will look and function as specified in the work order at the time of release. Even after release, defects discovered within 30 days of release will be reviewed and, on determining said defects are related directly to NetPass provisioned services, we will repair the defect(s) at no charge. Any modifications made by parties other than our firm to work provisioned by NetPass at any time voids any warranty regardless of timeframe.
I offer some services that are similar to those offered by your firm. Does this pose any conflict?
No. As far as we’re concerned, our resellers are clients. In fact, in instances where the reseller is also a developer/provider, our goal is to work with that reseller to provide services that compliment the services already offered by the reseller expanding their service line without increasing costs in the form of staff, benefits, etc.
What if your firm is involved in an RFP process in which a reseller is also involved?
Under these circumstances, the RFP provider remains a prospect for both NetPass and reseller and neither NetPass nor reseller will be required to withdraw their respective bids as part of the selection process.
When are payments to NetPass due?
Payment for all services rendered by NetPass on behalf of reseller and resellers customers and clients are due on the first of the month unless other arrangements have been agreed to by both parties. Resellers will be provided with appropriate invoicing detailing in itemized fashion all reseller client services under contract along with fees for these services.
What's to keep your firm from taking my clients?
Nothing. It’s true, there’s absolutely nothing keeping us from targeting your clients direct except our integrity. Our firm is extremely reputable and has been serving the online needs of thousands worldwide for nearly 15 years. In that period, our firm has never once knowingly targeted a reseller’s client/s directly and our promise to all of our resellers is... we never will.
Are NetPass resellers subject to performance requirements?
While NetPass does not formally require defined levels of performance, we believe it is a privilege to be accepted into the NetPass Authorized Reseller Program and reserve the right to cancel reseller credentials with our firm at any time. In the event reseller cancels or NetPass cancels the arrangement with said reseller, our firm will not knowlingly target resellers customers and clients for its own sales purposes.
Does NetPass bill my customers and clients direct?
No. We typically never bill reseller customers and clients directly. Under our program, we bill you and you bill your customers and clients. We have made exceptions, but note that if we bill your customers and clients direct your “commission” payment from us may be delayed (under this option we don’t pay resellers until we’re paid) and we do charge a 15% processing fee per invoice (this fee is 15% of the resellers commission, not the total bill).
Can I cancel my reseller Agreement with NetPass at any time?
Certain services such as production only, one-time networking and spot marketing will not require minimum timeframes for service provision. However, services like hosting/broadcasting will require minimum of three (3) month terms. NetPass reserves the right to refuse and/or cancel services at any time at its discretion.
